(WGHP) — Heat and humidity will build across the Piedmont Triad.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, hot and a little muggy with lows around 70 degrees and highs in the upper 90s. At times, our heat index will be near 100 degrees. If you are working or playing outside, take breaks in the shade or inside with the air conditioning. Plus, stay hydrated while you are working.
Mostly to partly sunny skies on Friday. We will be off to a warm start with morning temperatures in the middle 70s. During the day on Friday, our highs will be in the mid to upper 90s.
