iHeartMedia rock WHJY Providence, RI (94.1) morning hosts Paul Fuller and Al “Al Michaels” Milukas will sign off for the final time at the end of August, closing the book on a 36-year run that made them one of the market’s longest-tenured morning teams.
The duo announced their retirement Wednesday, marking the anniversary of their July 15, 1990 debut on WHJY after arriving from CHR WABB Mobile, AL.
In a social media post, the station thanked the hosts for their “legendary career” on “The Home of Rock ‘n Roll” and said Fuller and Milukas expressed their appreciation to listeners, co-workers, family and friends for supporting them throughout their three-and-a-half decades together.
