Canadian wildfire smoke expected to affect tri-state area

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Significant wildfires are continuing to burn in western and northwestern Ontario.

Upper-level winds will begin to shift on Wednesday, becoming more northwesterly, pushing smoke from these fires into the tri-state area starting late Wednesday and lasting into Friday.
