Woman accused of threatening to blow up Wellington Town Hall after dispute over water bill

WELLINGTON, Fla. (CBS12) — A Royal Palm Beach woman was arrested Tuesday after deputies say she threatened to blow up Wellington Town Hall while arguing with employees over a water bill and reconnection fees.

Tamar Janel King, 50, faces a felony charge of threatening to discharge a destructive device, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit.

The incident occurred July 14 at Wellington Town Hall, 12300 Forest Hill Blvd. Deputies said they responded around 10:04 a.m. after receiving reports of a bomb threat at the facility…
