An air quality alert was in place for all of Massachusetts Wednesday, July 15 as smoke from a large swath of wildfires in Canada and northern Minnesota blanketed the area.
The alert is specifically for fine particles that present a challenge for sensitive groups including those with lung or heart disease, older adults and children.
