Wildfire Smoke Triggers Air Quality Alert

Wednesday is set to be another hot one and while we have highs in the lower 90s with sunny skies there will be some haze. Wildfires from Canada are leading to smoky haze and air quality alerts. The NWS determined an AQI of 2.5 which is a level considered unhealthy for some. This mainly affects those with respiratory issues. The same conditions last into Thursday where the air quality alert expires at noon.

Friday brings in the weekend with showers as well as a chance for thunderstorms. We will see Friday reach daytime highs in the mid to upper 80s. The same conditions last into Saturday. Sunday will be a bit of a drier break as we see partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 80s.
