Gunfire tore through a quiet stretch of Blazing Pine Path on Wednesday afternoon in unincorporated DeKalb County near Decatur, leaving one person seriously injured and a neighborhood on edge.

According to FOX 5 Atlanta, officers were called to the 3400 block of Blazing Pine Path, near 3490 Blazing Pine Path, after reports of shots fired. One person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, and detectives remained on the scene working to piece together what led up to the violence.
