LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Parts of West Markham in Little Rock near downtown were still closed after a vehicle struck the pedestrian bridge Monday night, and all those cars that used that road to travel were detouring through local neighborhoods.
Some neighbors, including Imriel Coughlin, believed the most congested it got within the neighborhoods was on Dennison Street and 3rd Street.
“We’ve had semis and company trucks and all the traffic from Markham trying to get down this one street here behind me,” Coughlin said.
