WILTON, N.Y. (WNYT)- New York State Police (NYSP) said a driver fleeing a traffic stop on the Northway went the wrong way and hit a marked patrol vehicle before two people were arrested.
NYSP said troopers tried to stop a southbound vehicle north of Exit 18 on I-87 Northway at about 3:20 p.m. Thursday, July 16, for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Police said the driver did not stop and a pursuit continued into Saratoga County on rural roadways.
Police said the vehicle later got back onto the Northway by the Exit 16 northbound off-ramp and drove south in the northbound lanes. State Police said the vehicle then struck a northbound marked NYSP vehicle…
