A 37-year-old Allentown man died following a house fire early Monday morning in South Whitehall Township, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
Christopher R. Forsythe was pronounced dead at 5 a.m. July 13 at the scene outside a residence in the 2800 block of Helen Street. Authorities said the fire occurred in a reportedly vacant home.
Forsythe was recovered from the residence after the fire. An autopsy conducted Monday at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensic Center determined the cause of death to be inhalation of products of combustion and thermal injuries resulting from the house fire…
