Person rescued in SW Charlotte with life-threatening injuries: Medic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A person has life-threatening injuries from an incident that drew a large emergency response in southwest Charlotte Thursday night.

Several Charlotte Fire crews, Medic and police were seen at the intersection of Westinghouse Boulevard and Pioneer Avenue around 7:15 p.m. July 16, and eventually took the patient away on a stretcher.

They responded to an entrapment call, Medic officials said.

An AT&T work van also was on scene, but it unclear how the company was involved…
