HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A wreck on the interstate in Christian County is likely to impact traffic for an extended period of time Thursday afternoon.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash involves a tractor trailer and a box truck, with both appearing to flip off the roadway. The accident occurred at the 72-mile marker of I-24 heading eastbound just before 3:30 p.m.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, at least one person requested medical assistance from EMS, and a helicopter was flown in for assistance.
