The long-vacant former Kmart in The Grove at Newark was buzzing with activity Wednesday night as Lefty’s Alley & Eats held a soft opening, giving invited guests a sneak peek into the new family entertainment center.
Today, Lefty’s will officially open its doors to the public, offering 16 traditional bowling lanes, four duckpin bowling lanes, a 7,000-square-foot arcade, digital axe throwing, a Topgolf Swing Suite simulator, Krazy Darts bays, a Game Show Studio and a full restaurant and bar.
The opening of Lefty’s is another significant milestone for The Grove, which has been transitioning from the aging College Square Shopping Center to a more modern shopping center that is now the third-most-visited in the state.
