CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A group of Charlotte neighbors are living in fear because of a roundabout that’s caused dozens of crashes.
Wednesday night was the most recent crash near South Tryon and Steele Creek Road in the Steele Creek neighborhood.
The driver crashed into brick columns right outside Sally Pinckney’s backyard, destroying them.

“If that brick hadn’t been there, they would’ve plowed into me in bed,” Pinckney said. “[The driver] said he didn’t see it was a roundabout, and by the time he realized it, he couldn’t turn quick enough.”…
