One of Rhode Island’s Most Wanted has been arrested after more than 20-years on the run.
The U.S. Marshals Service says 70-year-old Ronald Fischer was taken into custody Thursday off the coast of New Jersey after the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force received a credible tip on his whereabouts.
At the time of his arrest, Fischer was said to be operating a 56-foot boat that was registered under an alias, and it was intercepted by the U.S. Coast Guard about an hour offshore…
