Hearing set next week on home that has Villagers in an uproar

A home that has Villagers in an uproar will be the subject of a deed compliance case next week at the District Office at Brownwood.

Earlier this month, neighbors packed a special meeting of the Community Development District 11 Board of Supervisors to vent their frustrations about the over-the-top displays, numerous flags and invasive lights at the home of Dennis McGrath-Wagner on Webster Way in the Village of Pine Ridge. Supervisor Peter Russell said he believes that McGrath-Wagner has been showing “obvious direct defiance” and deliberately trying to make his neighbors miserable.

The McGrath-Wagner home is on the docket for a hearing at 2 p.m. Monday before Special Master Terry Neal, a retired Lake County judge. The Village of Fenney resident now hears deed compliance cases on behalf of many CDDs in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown…
