Toledo man arrested, charged in 2020 fentanyl overdose death of woman

TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man has been arrested in connection with the 2020 overdose death of a woman after a Lucas County grand jury indicted him on an involuntary manslaughter charge.

Robert Hines, 41, was arrested Wednesday after authorities issued a warrant following his June 29 indictment in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

According to the indictment, Hines is charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony. Prosecutors alleged that on or about Feb. 15, 2020, Hines caused the death of Anna Garver by knowingly selling her fentanyl, which contributed to her death…
