A deadly crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck shut down lanes on a busy stretch of I-294 in Oak Brook Friday morning, with closures expected to last for an “extended” amount of time and an investigation underway.
About 7:07 a.m., Illinois State Police responded to the crash, involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck, on I-294 northbound and 31st Street. According to ISP, one person involved was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
As of 9 a.m., the ramp on I-294 northbound to I-88 westbound was closed and would remain closed “for an extended time” as an investigation continues, ISP said…
