A man crossing Highway 101 on foot was struck and killed by a driver late Thursday near San Francisco International Airport, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities received a report of a collision around 11:14 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 north of South Airport Boulevard, according to CHP San Francisco spokesperson Lt. Kevin Bjonerud.
The man was declared dead on the scene and was not taken to a hospital. The victim’s identity was not immediately available…
