Jefferson County deputy crashes on way to assist at hospital

DENVER (KDVR) — A Jefferson County deputy crashed while on the way to assist another deputy at a hospital, according to a statement made to FOX31 from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning.

The deputy had lights and sirens on and lost control of the vehicle on Hampden Avenue near Sheridan Boulevard.
