Bethlehem man charged with Madison Avenue stabbing

ALBANY — A Bethlehem man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing another man with a machete on Saturday.

The 30-year-old man is accused of stabbing a 23-year-old man near 133 Madison Ave., according to the Albany Police Department.

Police responded to the Lucky Cat Laundromat around noon and found the 23-year-old with a laceration to his forehead. The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, city police said…
