A woman from Louisiana, Missouri, was killed and two men were injured in a crash early Friday on Interstate 44 in St. Louis, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash happened at 12:27 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, on eastbound Interstate 44 east of Sappington Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2009 Chevrolet Equinox was stopped in lane No. 4 when it was struck by a 2027 Freightliner Cascadia. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound.
