MAILI, Hawaii (KHON2) — A 41-year-old moped rider was critically injured Friday night following a crash with a vehicle on Farrington Highway in Māʻili, according to the Honolulu Police Department.
Police said the collision happened at about 11 p.m. on July 17 near the intersection of Farrington Highway and Kaukama Street.
According to officials, a 44-year-old woman was driving east on Farrington Highway with a 28-year-old female passenger when she attempted to make a left turn onto Kaukama Street.
