LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – Close to 1,000 runners showed up at the starting line Saturday at Jackson National Life Insurance Company for Ele’s Race, a fundraiser supporting Ele’s Place, which provides grief support to anyone at no cost.
The race, now in its 21st year, offers several event options, including a 5K run/walk, team events and a Kids Dash.
The final stretch of the course, called the “Memory Mile,” reflects the mission of Ele’s Place. Runners who purchased memory hearts to honor loved ones can see the hearts displayed as they cross the finish line…
