Nampa City Council has a busy night ahead of it, with a discussion and potential approval of an amendment worth $11.13 million for the Purdam Sewer Trunk extension, as well as potential further steps to increase housing in the city’s south side near Lake Lowell.
One of the new business items will serve to possibly authorize Mayor Darl Bruner and Tom Points, the city’s senior public works director, to sign “Work Package No. 3 amendment to the (Construction Manager-General Contractor) agreement with IMCO-KRC Joint Venture LLC for the Purdam Sewer Trunk Project Extension,” from 11th Avenue to North Can Ada Road for no more than $11,133,270.95.
The city started construction on an extension of the main sewer line along Ustick Road between Madison Road and Can Ada Road, according to a city news release on Dec. 18, 2025. The line is “sometimes known as the Purdam Trunk Sewer Line,” the release said…
