LYNN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — It was grand opening day at the new Dairy Queen on Broadway in Lynn on Monday and crowds lined up to get their ice cream fix.
“Now that it’s actually here, I’m just really excited because it’s one of those places that you hear about all the time where you’re like, huh, I wonder what it’s like?” said one person in line.
Although the Dairy Queen didn’t open until 10 a.m., people still lined up hours beforehand, excited to see the restaurant return to Lynn for the first time in decades. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony was also held…
