A Hopkinsville man is facing charges of kidnapping of an adult and strangulation following investigation into a domestic violence incident on Calvin Drive Saturday.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, officers responded to the Eagle Crossing apartments around 1:30 p.m. Saturday following a call to 911 where no one spoke with dispatchers, but shouting could be heard in the background. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim and 38-year-old Jeremy Dye of Hopkinsville.
The victim reported to officers that Dye had allegedly smacked her across the face during an argument and stopped her from leaving when she attempted to. He is accused of grabbing her by the throat and restricting her breathing…
