A driver was ticketed after a three-car crash in The Villages sent two people to the hospital.
The crash occurred Monday morning on County Road 466 near Southern Trace Plaza. According to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of a Honda Accord failed to stop and struck two vehicles that had yielded to an approaching firetruck from The Villages Public Safety Department.
The Accord crashed into a Toyota Camry, pushing it forward into a Ford F-150 pickup truck. The drivers of both the Camry and the Ford F-150 were transported by ambulance to UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital…
