SCHENECTADY, NY (WNYT) – A firefighter was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out at a multi-apartment home in Schenectady Monday afternoon.
The Schenectady Fire Department said they responded to the home on Emmett Street around 3:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a structure fire. Firefighters said on the scene there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the attic and rear of the building.
