Woman arrested at Logan after Noah Kahan concert ordered released from Burlington ICE facility

A federal judge has ordered immigration officials to release a 32-year-old Florida resident from custody after she spent the last ten days in the U.S. Immigration of Customs Enforcement field office near the Burlington Mall.

Maria Rosales was arrested on July 10 at Logan Airport after coming to town for a Noah Kahan concert, and held in the controversial facility while her lawyers argued for her release.

In a sworn affidavit obtained by WBUR, Rosales detailed “tough” and “uncomfortable” conditions similar to those reported over the last year by other Burlington detainees, and which have drawn scrutiny from members of Congress and the public…
