Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont unloaded three shopping centers to Metrolina Capital for around $13.3 million this past July. The nonprofit closed these deals to shore up its finances and continue serving residents for years to come.
According to The Charlotte Observer, the Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road site brought in roughly $4.2 million on July 16, per Mecklenburg County records. Monroe’s location fetched about $4.3 million. Rock Hill’s property commanded just under $4.8 million on that same day, York and Union counties’ records show.
