NORRISTOWN — A former East Greenville man was sent to prison and will be under court supervision for 10 years for engaging in a course of conduct that violated a duty of care and endangered the welfare of his 1-month-old daughter.
Ryan Scott Lapish, 39, formerly of the 1000 block of Church Road, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 25- to- 120-months in a state correctional facility on a felony charge of endangering the welfare of a child in connection with February 2020 incidents that occurred at an East Greenville residence Lapish once shared with the child’s mother.
While imposing the sentence, Judge Wendy G. Rothstein said as a U.S. Marine veteran, Lapish knew the meaning of having a sacred duty of care and protection for others and that his duty to his child was no less sacred.
