2nd suspect in deadly Fort Wayne shooting takes plea deal

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – An 18-year-old Fort Wayne man has pleaded guilty in a deadly 2024 shooting.

Brauch Wilkins-Pease was initially charged with one count of murder and a sentencing enhancement for using a gun, accused of killing 23-year-old Angel Hennie Maldonado. Police found Maldonado with multiple gunshot wounds to the back in the 400 block of Dalman Avenue.

He died after receiving medical treatment…
