NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Middle Tennessee investors are working to purchase Vanderbilt University staple San Antonio Taco Company, which has been in business in Nashville for more than four decades.

“When Robert Wilder, our longtime manager, told us that he was ready to retire this year, we started considering potential buyers, and there was a lot of interest,” said Atkins and Haury in a release. “Through the due diligence process, we recognized that Will’s family values, which are reflected in his employees, Edley’s successful locations across the city, the strength of the local investor group, an understanding of the SATCO culture – among our employees and customers, plus his work restoring Brown’s diner, we had no doubt this was the right fit. We are leaving SATCO in good hands”
