HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – 10 On Your Side has reported on several teen takeover events in Hampton Roads this year. Some of the teens at these events have stated there are not enough things for them to do in the summer. In Hampton, there’s an events calendar filled with fun targeted at teens. This week, as part of the summer series “Teen Thursdays at Buckroe Beach”, the City of Hampton is hosting a FREE Pop-Up Skating Rink.
More ‘takeover’ events identified in Hampton Roads
Lace up your skates and enjoy a fun-filled Thursday at Buckroe Beach. The event promises great vibes. Bring your own skates or rent a pair on-site for a fee. Don’t forget to wear or bring socks.
The event will also be collecting new socks on site to donate to local youth in need.
