ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Incoming Roanoke County Public Schools superintendent Dr. Jamie Soltis kicked off his meet-and-greet tour across the division’s five high schools on Monday night at Northside High School.
“I wanted to give an opportunity for people to say what’s going really well, what they love, what we could keep doing,” said Soltis, who formerly served as the division’s deputy superintendent. “What are some areas for opportunities for improvement? And more than anything, just [for them] to get to know me as a person.”
