One of the infringing businesses is the Ray Hotel, a 141-room resort in Delray Beach’s Pineapple Grove Arts District. The Ray is part of Hilton’s Curio Collection.
The Ray did not return multiple requests for comment. Hilton’s corporate office said that the hotel is “an independently owned and operated property and they cannot speak on the hotel’s behalf.”

The association, which represents over 1 million different artists, took similar legal action last year against different bars and restaurants across the country. ASCAP recently sued multiple radio stations this year for failing to pay their artists despite broadcasting their works.
