Man pleads guilty for I-35 hit-and-run crash in Johnson County that let to teen’s death

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man has pleaded guilty to a 2024 hit-and-run on Interstate 35 in Johnson County, Kansas, that killed a teen.

Matthew Bray pleaded guilty on Tuesday to aggravated battery while driving under the influence and leaving the scene of a crash involving great bodily harm. He was charged August 2025.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 17…
