Residents will have an opportunity to safely dispose of hazardous household materials during a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event scheduled for Saturday, October 10, in Hopkinsville.
The collection will take place from 8 a.m. until noon at Hopkinsville Solid Waste, located at 5246 Mt. Zoar/Latham Road.
Accepted items will include batteries, antifreeze, brake fluid, fluorescent bulbs, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, pool chemicals, oil-based paint, solvents, transmission fluid, propane cylinders and other hazardous household products…
