CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority has reached a potential $300,000 settlement to resolve 37 claims from Clearwater Ferry passengers who were injured during an April 2025 crash.
The PSTA Board of Directors will review the proposed settlement at their Wednesday meeting. If approved, the agency said the $300,000 would be split between the 37 injured passengers.

The settlement would end the PSTA’s liability and any future exposure to medical or defense costs, according to documents detailing the proposal.
