Willoughby Hills is proposing a project near Marcum Boulevard intended to improve drainage capacity, reduce flooding and prevent backups on the south side of White Road.
This comes after western Lake County experienced a flash flood when nearly 3 inches of rain fell in approximately one hour.
“This intense storm resulted in flooding across many areas of the city, including streets, homes and businesses,” said Willoughby Hills Mayor Chris Hallum. “Our fire station was among the buildings affected.”…
