At its last meeting, the Fontana City Council honored various city employees, officers and community members for their accomplishments and contributions to Fontana. First in the lineup of awardees were Corporal Dustin Mullins and Officers Nicholas Straka, Gavin Rivers and Jon Gearhart as the Fontana Police Department’s employees of the month.
“Preserving life is our number one priority as police officers,” Police Captain Brian Binks said. “For their heroic efforts and the great job they did, they were chosen as employees of the month.
“These guys did an excellent job — it’s a small example of what they do on a day-to-day basis.”…
