HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WHLT) – The Hub City Humane Society requested assistance from the community after taking in 44 dogs that were rescued from a trailer in Jackson. Officials said a total of 74 dogs were discovered living in terrible conditions.
The Hattiesburg shelter was able to take action after reading a Facebook post asking for assistance, according to shelter director Tamara Huff. There is now enough room to shelter the rescued dogs thanks to recent adoptions.
