PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The weather pattern for Arizona is undergoing big changes over the next few days, with thunderstorm and flood threats being replaced by extreme heat.

Look for mostly sunny skies in the Valley today, with no storms expected. An afternoon high of 104 degrees is expected, which is two degrees below average for this time of year in Phoenix.

Storms will continue today in the mountains, with the best chances across Northern Arizona. Slow-moving storms will once again bring the threat of heavy rain and flash flooding…
