PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – A rare and undoubtably adorable animal was spotted in Parma Heights on Wednesday.
A viewer told FOX 8 News that her coworker saw the small white deer, as seen in the photo below, in the area of Pearl Road and Stumph Road.
Albino deer lack melanin pigmentation. They have all white fur, pink eyes and a pink nose. According to the National Deer Association, they are extremely rare, with some estimating one in every 30,000 deer showing the trait.
