A Broadway at the Beach seafood restaurant that has been open for three decades will close soon to make way for a famous restaurant inspired by an award-winning movie.
Landry’s Seafood House, which opened just days after Broadway at the Beach held its own grand opening in July 1995, is expected to close in the coming months.
The restaurant will be transformed into Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., a seafood restaurant based on the 1994 film “Forrest Gump” that stars Tom Hanks as the titular character.
