As the Project Pawsible renovation continues at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, the organization is calling on the community to adopt or foster animals to help ease pressure on the shelter. Dogs are currently among the greatest placement needs because most are housed on-site.
The construction project is improving animal living spaces and enriching their environment, as well as enhancing adoption areas and creating more comfortable and visible spaces for the overall care and well-being of shelter pets. Because the project is ongoing, there is no set deadline for the community response; every adoption or foster placement helps create needed flexibility while the renovation continues.
