WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A baby giraffe whose survival story gained thousands of fans well beyond the Wichita area continues to reach milestones at Tanganyika Wildlife Park.
Last week, 12 News shared the story of the premature calf, delivered via C-section to a mother who couldn’t survive her illness. The early prognosis for the baby was somewhat bleak, but caretakers got to work and on Wednesday, staff at Tanganyika delivered an encouraging update.
