Notre Dame football recruiting could reach another level on Thursday when 2027 Chicago (Ill.) Brother Rice defensive tackle Brayden Parks announces his college decision at 5 p.m. ET.
The 6-3, 305-pound four-star recruit will choose between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Oregon Ducks in one of the more back-and-forth recruitments of the 2027 class. Parks is currently the No. 199 overall player on the 247 Sports Composite Ranking, a consensus four-star recruit across all major recruiting platforms, and a priority target for head coach Marcus Freeman and defensive line coach Charlie Partridge.
A recruitment defined by ties and temptation
For those who haven’t followed this recruitment closely, Parks has deep connections to the Notre Dame program. His godfather is Chris Zorich, a Notre Dame legend.
