Planned power outage to impact Mason, Alaiedon Township homes

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A planned Consumers Energy outage in the Mason area that was initially set to take place last week will take place Thursday, Mason officials say.

Consumers initially planned to shut the power off last Thursday to allow for maintenance. Now, the outage is set to take place over Thursday night, starting at 11 p.m. and continuing for six hours.

A map provided by the city of Mason outlines the affected area, encompassing much of the south side of the city and extending north past Howell Road into Alaeidon Township.
